Levon Der Bedrossian opened La Méditerranée in 1979 with the goal of serving good food in a pleasant environment, with warm and friendly service. In 2013, we proudly opened our Catering only kitchen on Powell Street in the heart of historic North Beach to meet the growing demand for our catering services!
Our Mid-East and Mediterranean cuisine is inspired by Armenian and Lebanese family recipes. Each dish is made from scratch daily, sourcing only the finest spices and ingredients. Family owned and operated by Levon’s son Vanick, along with our long term manager, Alicia, we strive daily to uphold our motto, “the smallest things make the biggest differences!”
